Web, the web, world wide web, the world wide web: we here at ISP Knotwork (Internet Service Provider Knotwork or Internet Service Providing Knotwork) have been here since the beginning. Remember gopher? If so then maybe you too remember when the web came along. This collection of resources dates back that far. So bear with us if some of the links sometimes seem dead or something. Over the decades some sites do occassionally vanish for small (or even large) spans of time.

Basically these resources were originally researched in the course of setting up an Internet Service Provider (ISP), a term which in those days was mostly used to mean bandwidth providers (connection providers, connectivity providers). This section (the web section) focusses on the web, which is just one of many Internet Services.

This site is about providing internet services, not about obtaining internet services.
